I’m Léonie Patron, a tattoo artist and graphic designer. The name Merci Patron comes from my surname, Patron, combined with “Merci,” which means “Thank you, boss”—though of course, it’s not meant literally. In France, we often use it more as a joke. Born and raised in France, I’ve been living in Hamburg for 8 years. I’m deeply connected to my roots and enjoy weaving French wordplay and sayings into my work.

A bit about me: After over a decade working as a creative designer in design agencies, I now freelance, specializing in branding and packaging design. I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with a wide range of brands, from beverages and food to care and beauty.

Alongside graphic design, tattooing is a vital creative outlet for me. It allows me to connect with people in a unique and personal way. I like to describe myself as a 360° designer—whether it’s digital, print, or ink on skin, I bring ideas into life across all kinds of media.
